MENA ensures the bathroom is accessible
with selected hinged doors with folding mechanisms
The hinged doors with folding mechanism, with a maximum height of 2050 mm, are available in widths of up to 1550 mm and thus meet all the requirements of DIN standard 18040-2 for accessible bathroom design. This is because one of the main criteria is a layout that allows sufficient freedom of movement and provides space for walking aids, wheelchairs and a carer. For example, a person using a walking aid requires a manoeuvring area of 1200 mm x 1200 mm, whilst a person in a wheelchair requires 1500 mm x 1500 mm. And this is precisely what can be achieved with the new MENA swing-fold solution.

cleaning
Proper cleaning is important.
To ensure your shower enclosure stays sparkling clean for a long time, we recommend regular cleaning after each use. After showering, you should rinse the interior surfaces first with warm water, then with cold water, and dry them thoroughly. Profiles and discs must only be cleaned with mild, standard cleaning and care products, e.g. diluted vinegar water (mixing ratio 1:1). Under no circumstances should abrasive cleaners, alcohol or nitro thinner etc. be used.

We recommend lubricating the guide rails, rollers and hinges once a year, for example with Vaseline or silicone spray, and tightening the screws on the rollers, metal hinges and rising hinge mechanism to ensure smooth operation for many years to come.

The Kermi Duschdesign CLEAN easy cleaning coating for safety glass is the ideal choice if you want to minimise the effort required for cleaning. A special surface coating prevents dried water droplets, soap residue, dirt and limescale from becoming stubbornly embedded. It also prevents germs and bacteria from settling, ensuring improved hygiene.
For cleaning, we recommend soft, non-abrasive cloths and standard, non-abrasive cleaning agents.

MENA with wall hinge
The elegant MENA shower enclosure is available in a minimalist, made-to-measure design with wall hinges up to a height of 2200 mm. The high-quality metal hinges are shown to their best advantage in this completely frameless design. All doors feature a convenient two part hinged door mechanism that opens inwards and outwards, with a lift-and-lower function.
MENA with wall profile
For those who prefer a slightly more substantial frame, MENA is also available in a partly framed version with a wall profile on all standard models with a series height of 2000 mm. The distinctive metal hinge not only looks very stylish, but also ensures a completely reliable lifting, lowering and swing function.
