Our history – from the early days to the present day
The history of Kermi began in 1960 when it was founded as a small workshop by the partners Kerschl and Schmidt. Originally specialising in the manufacture of heating oil tanks, the company expanded into the shower enclosure sector in 1976 – a move that laid the foundations for Kermi Duschdesign’s current focus.
Since then, Kermi Duschdesign has stood for continuous development, technical innovation and high quality standards. Over the decades, the company’s premises have been steadily expanded and adapted to meet growing demands.
