Sustainability as an integral part of our corporate policy

As a manufacturer of innovative shower solutions within the Glass Solutions division of Arbonia AG, we are firmly committed to sustainability. All 14 brands under the Arbonia AG umbrella – in the fields of doors, showers and room partition systems – operate according to a shared principle: sustainable business practices for a responsible future.

For us, sustainability is not a trend, but an integral part of our corporate policy. We take responsibility towards the environment, our customers and our partners: through energy-efficient processes, high quality standards and a lasting commitment to environmental and social values.

Our sustainable practices enhance customer satisfaction, ensure long-term business success and build trust throughout the entire value chain.

Our values and goals

Our aim

is to manufacture our products in a resource-efficient and energy-efficient manner.

We strive for an uncompromising focus on our customers’ wishes and needs, combined with a high degree of innovation and a reliable standard of quality.

principle of sustainability

Responsibility for quality, the environment, health and safety, and energy

is firmly embedded in our integrated management system. Responsibility is a way of life for us: all employees work together to continuously ensure and improve the performance of our products and the efficiency of all processes.

We support our teams in a targeted manner by assigning them responsible tasks and raising awareness of safety, environmental, energy and quality aspects in all processes.

Through targeted training, practical further education and transparent communication, we impart the necessary knowledge and behaviours to meet the highest standards.

In this way, we create a working environment that combines responsibility, team spirit, commitment and loyalty – and ensure sustainable excellence in market, product and process knowledge.

Our products, manufacturing processes and procedures

are designed to ensure the highest safety and health standards for employees, customers and users – whilst protecting the environment.

Working closely with authorities and emergency services, we develop comprehensive safety concepts and contingency plans to minimise risks to people and the environment.

We regard legal requirements as a minimum standard and aim to exceed them through proactive action.

Objectives

Setting appropriate objectives and measures

commits us to the continuous improvement of our performance and, consequently, to the effectiveness of our management system.

Sustainability and resource conservation are key criteria in all our investments. We regularly evaluate our progress towards these targets and any residual risks using relevant indicators in the areas of quality, health, safety, energy and the environment.

For us, error management is an opportunity for further development – which is why we create all the necessary financial and structural foundations for innovation and improvement.

Regular internal and external audits enable us to objectively assess and optimise our processes.

As part of our integrated resource management approach

we continuously record and analyse our material flows.

Building on this, we continuously take measures to increase material efficiency and recycling rates, as well as to reduce the volume of waste.

Waste disposal is carried out in accordance with a waste management plan.

The main components of our shower enclosures, glass and aluminium, are also ideally suited for recycling:

Glass can be returned to the melting process as often as required and processed into new products; it can therefore be reused an infinite number of times. Such material reuse is environmentally friendly, protects the climate and can save a great deal of energy and raw materials.

Aluminium is also almost entirely recyclable and reusable. Recycling aluminium is ecologically sound and conserves resources, as the energy required is only 5% of that needed for primary production and significantly less carbon dioxide is emitted. Once the recycling process is complete, aluminium can be reused multiple times without any loss of quality.

Our contractual partners

throughout the entire supply and waste management chain are encouraged and supported by us to apply our standards in the areas of quality, health, safety and environmental protection.
