All Kermi shower enclosures are developed and manufactured at our site in Plattling, Lower Bavaria – genuine quality ‘Made in Germany’. We remain committed to reliability even after your purchase: we guarantee that all spare parts will remain available for 20 years after a model has been discontinued – a clear testament to our quality philosophy.

Kermi shower enclosures are characterised by exceptional durability and are tested in accordance with EN 14428 (CE) and PPP 53005 (TÜV / GS), which ensures, amongst other things, safety in use with regard to stability, splash protection and ease of maintenance.

Splash protection
Water-repellent effect thanks to innovative sealing strips
All Kermi shower enclosures meet the requirements of the splash-proof test in accordance with DIN EN 14428:
- The higher the barrier (floor profile), the less splash water penetrates outwards
- A special horizontal sealing strip with a water-repellent effect (included in the scope of delivery) ensures satisfactory splash protection even in floorless shower enclosures without a threshold
Stability

All Kermi shower enclosures feature an extremely sturdy construction:
- Withstands everyday use with ease
- Stability testing of our shower enclosures using a pendulum impact test
- Use of exclusively strong single-pane safety glass in accordance with EN 12150-1 (in thicknesses ranging from 3 to 10 mm, depending on the series and model)
- The heat-treated glass has a significantly higher impact and shock resistance than untreated glass
