cleaning
Proper cleaning is important.
To ensure your shower enclosure stays sparkling clean for a long time, we recommend regular cleaning after each use. After showering, you should rinse the interior surfaces first with warm water, then with cold water, and dry them thoroughly. Profiles and discs must only be cleaned with mild, standard cleaning and care products, e.g. diluted vinegar water (mixing ratio 1:1). Under no circumstances should abrasive cleaners, alcohol or nitro thinner etc. be used.

Maintenance
Minimal maintenance for optimal performance.
It is advisable to lubricate the guide rails, rollers and hinges once a year, for example with Vaseline or silicone spray, and to tighten the screws on the rollers, metal hinges and rising hinge mechanism to ensure smooth operation for many years to come.

The Kermi Duschdesign CLEAN easy cleaning coating for safety glass is the ideal choice if you want to minimise the effort required for cleaning. A special surface coating prevents dried water droplets, soap residue, dirt and limescale from becoming stubbornly embedded. It also prevents germs and bacteria from settling, ensuring improved hygiene.
For cleaning, we recommend soft, non-abrasive cloths and standard, non-abrasive cleaning agents.

LIGA hinged door with folding mechanism U-shape enclosure
The LIGA hinged door with folding mechanism is also available in the U-shape. Thanks to the two hinged door panels, which can be swivelled 90° at the hinges, the entire shower enclosure can be folded away. This is a great alternative for small bathrooms, as it allows for efficient use of space.

LIGA two part hinged door
The LIGA shower enclosure range is considered Kermi’s all-rounder. The LIGA two part hinged door, with a reliable rising hinge mechanism in the profiled hinge, can be opened both outwards and inwards. It also offers the option of a fixed-panel configuration.
LIGA Hinged Door
Thanks to five millimetres of highly transparent single panel safety glass, the LIGA hinged door is lightweight and easy to transport, with pre-assembled hinges ensuring quick and easy installation. Available as a standard model with a slim wall profile or made to measure with wall hinges, the LIGA hinged door is suitable for any room and installation situation.
LIGA floor clearance sliding doors
The practical LIGA sliding doors are particularly well suited to small bathroom layouts, as no swing-out space is required for the doors. The doors move easily and silently thanks to high-quality ball-bearing rollers. Available in numerous standard sizes with a series height of 1850 mm or 2000 mm and highly adaptable thanks to an adjustment range of 25 mm per wall profile.
LIGA sliding doors with floor profile
The 2-part and 3-part LIGA sliding doors, with their modern, straight profile design, make a grand statement with a series height of 2 m and a water-repellent 42 mm floor profile. The door panels can be easily swung inwards.
