featuring selected models of folding swing doors
The swing-fold doors, with a maximum height of 2050 mm, are available in widths of up to 1550 mm and therefore meet all the requirements of the DIN 18040-2 standard for accessible bathroom design. This is because one of the key criteria is a layout that allows sufficient freedom of movement and provides space for walking aids, wheelchairs and a carer. For example, a person using a walking aid requires a manoeuvring area of 1200 mm x 1200 mm, whilst a person in a wheelchair requires 1500 mm x 1500 mm. And this is precisely what can be easily achieved with the new MENA swing-fold solution.

Cleaning
Proper cleaning is important.
To ensure your shower enclosure stays sparkling for a long time, we recommend cleaning it regularly after each use. After showering, you should first rinse the interior surfaces with warm water, then with cold water, and dry them thoroughly. Profiles and glass panels must only be cleaned with mild, standard cleaning and care products, e.g. diluted vinegar solution (mixing ratio 1:1). Under no circumstances should abrasive cleaners, alcohol or nitro thinner etc. be used.

It is advisable to lubricate the guide rails, rollers and joints once a year, for example with Vaseline or silicone spray, and to retighten the screws on the rollers, metal fittings and lifting mechanism to ensure smooth operation for many years to come.

The Kermi Duschdesign CLEAN easy-care coating for real glass is an ideal option if you want to minimise the effort required for cleaning. A special surface coating prevents dried water droplets, soap residue, dirt and limescale from becoming stubbornly embedded. It also prevents germs and bacteria from adhering, ensuring improved hygiene.
For cleaning, we recommend soft, non-abrasive cloths and standard, non-abrasive cleaning products.

The elegant MENA shower enclosure is available in a minimalist, made-to-measure design with wall-mounted fittings up to a height of 2200 mm. The high-quality metal fittings are shown off to their best advantage in this completely frameless design. All doors feature a convenient swing-door mechanism that opens inwards and outwards, with a lift-and-lower function.
MENA with wall profile
For those who prefer a slightly more substantial frame, MENA is also available as a semi-framed version with a wall profile in all standard series models with a standard height of 2000 m. The distinctive metal hinge fitting not only looks very stylish, but also ensures absolutely reliable lifting, lowering and swing functions.
