Bajuwarenkaserne, Regensburg

The Bundeswehr's Bajuwarenkaserne barracks are located in the heart of Regensburg in the Upper Palatinate. This is where the Regensburg support centre for civilian vocational training and further education (ZAW) is based. Some of the soldiers come from all over Germany and live in Regensburg for up to 36 months.

Single accommodation plays a special role in Regensburg – as in other Bundeswehr schools – because the soldiers have different working hours depending on their training occupation and internship placement. This makes it all the more important to have a quiet place to study.

Two accommodation buildings (Building 2 and Building 4) on the barracks grounds with a total of 210 single rooms were converted and renovated. The result is functional rooms in bright and friendly colours.

Kermi Shower Design GmbH equipped the bathrooms with high-quality shower enclosures from the Ibiza 2000 series. These fit perfectly with the new design of the rooms.
